Sky Trek gives you the opportunity to fly by a cable, through Monteverde’s world famous Cloud Forest, in a tour full of adrenalin and adventure, at a speed of 60 KM/H at heights up to 140 meters. Sky Trek consists in 11 cross-sectional zip lines, that make available the possibility of observing the Cloud Forest of Monteverde and its landscapes from a different perspective, with total security in an innovated system.

   The tour includes a total of 11 zip lines that go through the forest (which all together, have a length of 3 kilometers approximately), with distances that go from the 40 meters to the 770 meters, and heights from 20 to 130 meters. In addition, the tour also includes two observation platforms that exceed the top of the trees to offer a panoramic view towards the areas of San Carlos, Puntarenas and Guanacaste. This tour last around 2 hours.

     During the tour you will be with specialized Personnel credited by the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (Costa Rica Tourist Board).

What makes the difference between “Sky Trek” and all the other canopy tours of Costa Rica??

     Sky Walk it's a system of 6 suspension bridges (with lengths of even 984 feet), that go above the capony of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, which allows you to appreciate the flora and fauna of Costa Rica from a different perspective.  Sky Walk reunites all the conditions of security and confidence. It's construction has been adapted even for people with some disability. As an addition, we also daily offer two Sky Walk tours    accompanied by one of our specialized guides, one in the morning and another one in the evening.

This wonderful site is located 300 meters from Santa Elena downtown. This tour is appropriate to know about snakes, amphibians and other reptiles of Costa Rica. The facilities are ample and modern, to offer a cozy, extensive atmosphere and adapted temperature for the animals in captivity. It is possible to appreciated more than 40 species between poisonous and nonpoisonous serpents, terrestrial reptiles, small lizards, iguanas, frogs, amphibians and some turtles
. All tours are guided, and with an approximated duration of one hour.
The Monteverde Serpentarium  is open all week from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.
