The trip is broken down as follows:
One and a half hours by road, a half hour boat ride on Lake Arenal and then another half hour from the Lake to La Fortuna. The total travel time is 3 hours.
We transport from hotel to hotel with the exception of a few remote locations

This group transportation is the fastest route between Monteverde and the Arenal Volcano.

Save time by cutting across Lake Arenal instead of driving around it!

There are daily departure times:

Morning transportation pick-up time: 8:00 a.m. from Monteverde.
8:30 a.m. from La Fortuna - Arenal.

Afternoon transportation pick-up time: 2:00 pm. from Monteverde.
2:30 pm. from La Fortuna - Arenal.

(The cost of pick-up from your hotel depends up on the location)
(Arenal Observatory Lodge additional cost $20, Ecolodge San Luis additional cost $10 )
